NEWARK -- A Granville man has challenged the residency of
52 registered Licking County voters. Those challenged must attend a
special hearing at the County Administration Building at 6 p.m. Tuesday to
answer the challenge. James B. Barton has challenged the registration
based on the grounds that the 52 people are not residents of the precinct
where they are registered. Anyone who was challenged should have received
a notice in the mail informing them of the hearing, and suggesting they
bring a driver's license, utility bill or any other documentation showing
proof of residency.
